2x23 & 2x24 - Live together, die alone
"Live Together, Die Alone" is the twenty-third episode and 2-hour season finale of Season 2 of Lost, and comprises the 48th and 49th produced hours of the show overall. Events come to a head as Michael leads his friends across the Island to confront the Others. Meanwhile, Desmond returns to the Island on a sailboat, and he and Locke make a decision to see what happens if the countdown in the Swan goes beyond zero. This episode was also Desmond's first flashback episode.
3x08 - Flashes before your eyes
"Flashes Before Your Eyes" is the eighth episode in Season 3 and the fifty-seventh produced episode of the series as a whole. It was originally broadcast on February 14, 2007. A suspicious and determined Charlie enlists Hurley to help him wrestle the truth out of Desmond, who has been acting strangely ever since the implosion of the hatch. The flashback in this episode is unusual compared to others within the series. Desmond flashes back to his part in the hatch's implosion when he became "unstuck in time" and traveled back to the past. This "time slip" appears as a single narrative that almost stretches the entire episode. The only other episodes to present flashbacks in this way are "Meet Kevin Johnson", "316" and "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham".
3x17 - Catch-22
"Catch-22" is the seventeenth episode of Season 3 and the sixty-sixth produced hour of the series. It was originally broadcast on April 18, 2007. When Desmond has a flash of a stranger arriving on the Island, he recruits Charlie, Hurley and Jin to join him. Meanwhile, Kate seduces Sawyer after witnessing Jack and Juliet together.
4x05 - The Constant
"The Constant" is the fifth episode of Season 4 of Lost, and the seventy-seventh produced hour of the series as a whole. It was originally broadcast on February 28, 2008. Sayid and Desmond hit some turbulence on the way to the freighter, which causes Desmond to experience some unexpected side effects: his 1996 consciousness travels to 2004 and back multiple times. The episode follows Desmond's 1996 consciousness in one continuous narrative between the two years.
5x03 - Jughead
"Jughead" is the third episode of Season 5 of Lost and the eighty-ninth produced hour of the series as a whole. It was originally broadcast on January 28, 2009. Desmond looks for a woman who might be the key to helping Faraday stop the Island's unpredictable movements through time; Locke finds out who has been attacking the survivors.
